The Bob Feller Act of Valor Award Foundation is proud to announce the creation of a new education tuition assistance program for all qualified students of military families, veterans and service members seeking post-secondary education.
The foundation’s ongoing mission is to acknowledge and support the sacrifices made by service members, veterans and their families. As part of this commitment, the foundation will provide scholarships designed to provide financial support for our service members, veterans, or a family student according to the guidelines of the scholarship program.
The first scholarship is designed for an individual enrolled in an accredited high school or GED program and on track to graduate. You are ineligible for this program if you have enrolled in a college, university or technical/vocational school and have completed more than 21 college credits. College credits earned in a dual enrollment program while in high school are not counted towards your 21 credit total.
The second scholarship is designed for an individual enrolled in a nationally or regionally accredited college, university or technical/vocational school. You must be on a successful graduation track towards a vocational/technical, associates or bachelor’s degree.
The deadline to submit scholarship applications for the 2020-2021 school year is Tuesday, September 1, 2020.
Recipients will be notified by mail and presented with the award at the annual Bob Feller Act of Valor Award Ceremony in Washington, D.C. on November 19, 2020.
